2. A leading homebuilder in Maryland and Pennsylvania, Dan Ryan Builders also supports
the works of the Interfaith Housing Alliance (IHA), located in Frederick, Maryland.
Dan Ryan, the chief operating officer of Dan Ryan Builders, issued a challenge grant of
$25,000 through the IHA’s yearly fund drive in December.
3. The Interfaith Housing Alliance makes it possible for people living in Maryland and
Pennsylvania to benefit from one of several housing initiatives.
For example, the IHA’s “Housing Matters” program provides real estate counseling as
well as housing that is reasonably priced.
The primary emphasis of the program is to help people who are economically
disadvantaged find comfortable, affordable homes.
4. In addition to the “Housing Matters” program, the IHA also offers a “Purchase-Repair
Homeownership” plan that allows participants to obtain assistance in budgeting, credit
repair, the mortgage application process, and property repair and maintenance.
The IHA helps families and seniors secure affordable rental properties as well.
