1. Lung cancer <br />Cancer is one of the most common causes of death in men and women. What is cancer, and what cancer affects most of the population in the world? WWWWw Cancer is created when normal cells have a mutation in the DNA or RNA. Then, the cells have out-of-control cell growth. This will make the immunity system weak and it wont try to get rid of them because they have a very similar or even part of our cells in particular. Lung cancer is oOne of the most common cancers in the world that man and woman can get easily. But how can people get lung cancer?<br />There are many ways of how people get lung cancer one of the most common ways when people smoke. 90% of men and 70% of woman that smoke get lung cancer. which is one of the most common ways Iin fact, there are some other ways that people get lung cancer.10-15% of man and 5% of woman get cancer because of the substances inhaled on the place were they work. This These people might work with or near radiation, mustard sulfur, asbestos, arsenic, chromium, this these substances inhaled by the people are bad for their lungs and they can cause people start to have unconscious tumors that can star developing into cancerous tumors that then can be deadly<br />There are many treatments to solve cancer but all of them have different side effects and sometimes it is not very effective. One of the most common treatments is having a surgery but sometimes things don't go really well.<br />Even thought sSurgery is a very common treatment option for lung cancer patients. The main goal of lung cancer surgery is to eliminate the tumor and cure the cancer. <br />There are three kinds surgery to cure the cancer:<br />Segmental or wedge resection in this surgery a small section of the lung is removed. The advantage of the segmental resection is that the patients can breath normally shortly after the surgery; The Lobotomy is when the entire lung lobe is removed. The Pneumonectomy is when the entire lung is removed.<br />After these surgeries the patients can have a lot of trouble and other side effects like Pain and weakness in the chest and arms Short breathing Lack of energy Lack of general strength in fact this is a very dangerous surgery also sometimes the cancer comes back but most of the time is helpful.<br /> <br />Another very helpful treatment is chemotherapy. Tthis consists in of using chemicals to weaken or destroy the cancerous cells that are near to the original tumor, also to make the cells stop dividing. There are many advantages for this treatment; it can be used to reduce the tumor before having a surgery or after surgery to prevent cancer fromto cominge back, or if there are some symptoms, it can be used to prevent cancer. But this treatment have many side effects too because it might not only effect the cancerous cells it might also affect other cells causing: sSevere nausea with our without vomiting, temporary hair loss, fatigue, mouth and lips sores, diarrhea, lLoss of appetite, tiredness, or weakness.<br />One more treatment that is also very helpful is Radiotherapy or radiation therapy this consists in of using high-energy rays (x-rays), or particles, to destroy the cancerous cells. This is a primary treatment, but it is also used in addition of to the surgery because it is not very efficient and it is also very expenscive for the people that cant afford for this treatments.<br /> There are many social issues involved with lung cancer. Because Wwhen athe person hasve cancer that they have to stay away from others because of the treatment. Tand they have to spend a lot of time in the hospital, so that meansmake the patient is out of the social network. There is also there is a big issue with smoking because smoking is very common, and people who smoke a lot are and that is causing many more people get lung cancer or any other issues also you cant stop the industry that made cigarette is very strong so it would be a really big impact for the economy and to all the people that smoke . Also the cigarettes have a lot of substances that pollutes the environment that cause lung cancer so that harms the environment and the lungs. Cigarette smoke contains over 4,000 chemicals, including 43 known cancer-causing (carcinogenic) compounds and 400 other toxins. These include nicotine, tar, and carbon monoxide, as well as formaldehyde, ammonia, hydrogen cyanide, arsenic, and DDT. Nicotine is highly addictiveaddictive;. wWhich means that many people get are affected by it.<br /> We can know that lung cancer’s death rate is one of the highest in all cancers and that it causes a lot of pain and also spend a lot of money to the patient and it might come back so it is a cancer that is hard to treat. So for reducing cancer the first thing that we have to do is reduce the amount of cigarettes used by people that could help preventing lung cancer. Also when there is some of things that might tell that cancer could star then it could be good to check or else the person will have to suffer a lot .<br />
