6. Romantic, slow music is mostly conventional in romantic dramas, I have put it in my opening because it is unconventional and by doing that I am challenging the conventions of a romantic comedy
7. It is conventional in romantic dramas and romantic comedies for an obstacle to be placed in the way of the two main characters, as I have done in my opening sequence with the introduction of the third character.

10. My media product represents… Different social groups-male and female Teenagers, average teens Different dress code More down to earth clothing and characters
11. These are average teens and what they wear, I tried to make my teens dress similarly I have tried to make my characters look like normal average teenagers through the costume choices.

16. The same distributors tend to distribute similar types of genres, these are both romantic comedies and are both distributed by Warner Bros. P.S I love you A Cinderella Story
17. Who would be the audience for your media product?
18. Mostly 16-24 year old male and females will be my audience as that is the age which mostly go to the cinema and view films
19. My audience would be… Mostly women, yet still males as it is a Romantic Comedy Ages which commonly go to the cinema which is 16-24 year old romantic com fans People who have seen the film closer as it has a similar idea
20. I did a questionnaire to see what peoples favourite genres were and these were the results. I asked 20 people and out of those 20 most people preferred Romantic Comedies
22. I used young actors because that would attract the audience I am aiming for.The boy meets girl at the beginning of the film is typical of a romantic comedy so that will attract romantic comedy fans.

Compare the clothing in my opening of a filmTo the clothing in a big Hollywood film to show how I am representing average teens instead of the type of teens you usually see in films which isnt usually realistic.
Distributors like Columbia Pictures tend to stick to the same type of films example, romcoms, romantic dramas etc.
