1. How to create an account and make
boards on Pinterest

2. Visit the Pinterest website at http://www.pinterest.com. Click on the
‘Join Pinterest’ button on the home page and fill out your information.
Pinterest will send you a confirmation email with a link that allows you to
create your account. Pinterest also gives you the option to signup
through Facebook or Twitter.

3. Login. Either log in using your
email, Facebook, or Twitter.

4. To get started, Pinterest gives you the option to pick from a list of
categories of different subjects you would be interested in
following and seeing pictures of. You will be shown boards from
Pinterest users and you will be able to follow boards based on
your taste. Once you pick your first 5 boards click on the ‘next’
button.

5. You will now be viewing your home screen with
images from your chosen boards.

6. On your home screen there is an ‘Add’ button
you can click on to either add a pin or create a
board.

7. When you choose to create a board you will be asked:
Board name
Board category
If you would like your board to be secret (this will make your board only
viewable by you)
Who can pin (this is where you can invite friends to view your board)

8. To create your board you must find pins.
To do this click on ‘Find Pins’.

9. This will bring you to a page of photos
matching the category you chose.

10. Once you find a photo you would like on your
board click on the photo and choose ‘Repin’.
Use the arrow down button to find your board
and click on ‘Pin It’.

11. Repeat this step until you have Pinned
5 photos to fill your board.
