- One of the most NBcharacterisitics of a Blog is that CONTENT IS KINGYou need to keep content fresh
- Here are some Facts you should know
- We are no longer in the age of talking at or to people, we need to communicate with
- As far as I am concerned YesIt could and maybe should even take over from your website (more on that later)Why should you start a blog
- Why should you…..It’s a relevant way to speak to supportersIts an authentic way to engage, its written how you speakIts vibrant, or at least it should be vibrant by being fresh (remember Content is King)It is Real communication, it is 2 wayYou cant hide behind it, its totally transparent, your comments will let you know whatBy doing these things you will Build TrustYou will be more human so you will build relationshipsYou start to be more donor focussedSo many arent doing it, it can allow Be Remarkable in your fieldMost importantly……….

- This isnt actually being written by IAA but by a mum who has children with Autism about her experiences but also about what the charity is doing.3rd party blogging is a great way to get started. Anyone here from Down Syndrome Ireland? Here is one for you
