many attractions in London.

It took seven years to make the London Eye.
The London Eye can carry 800 passengers at a

The Big Ben was finished on the 10th April 1858, that
makes it 153 years old.
Big Ben is 2.28 metres tall.
It is made out of tin and copper.

6. THE RIVER THAMES
All along the River Thames are many royal
palaces, government buildings, market squares.
It is the longest river in England and goes right
through the centre of London.
It features heavily in the credits of a UK

7. OLYMPIC STADIUM
The Olympic Stadium is purpose built for the 2012
Olympics and is situated in East London.
The Olympic stadium is surrounded by water on
three sides.
