Here are some slides introducing my.Lboro, a new website for Loughborough University students. my.Lboro tries to gather together in one place all of the key information you need on a day-to-day basis as a Loughborough student. We are looking into staff facilities too, and the slides highlight some possible developments that we would appreciate feedback on.

From the start of the academic year, students have been able to view the teaching timetable for their programme part. For semester 2, a pilot has been underway with some Schools to enable students to view individual student timetables. We hope to make individual timetables available to most students for Semester 1 2012/13, although this depends upon accurate and timely student module and group information. Future timetabling development includes:a flexible “custom” facility to show the timetable for one or more module;Links with Google Calendar;Integration into the student portal to show today’s events.
In previous years returning students had to attend a re-registration event on the Sunday before the start of term. This year, you were able to re-register online. This is an example screen from the re-registration facility, used to indicate your data protection consents. If you want to make changes to some of your personal information during the year, such as a change of term-time address, you are now able to do this online using the new self-service facilities.
