Evaluation of the project
The first time I heard about the project I was excited as well as my 3 friends. It was
something new. We joined the Czech group which worked on the project. When I got the first
task I wasn’t sure if I wanted to continue in the project because the task was difficult for me
and I’m also lazy, really lazy. But when I heard about traveling to Turkey I’ve changed my
mind. I was so happy because Turkey and Czech Republic is a BIG difference. The Czech
Republic is like a small Istanbul.
I joined the project with my friends last year. It was pity I had not joined earlier because we
could travel to Italy or Poland. Never mind it was good experience too. We weren’t the first
in the group. We got that opportunity because someone else left the group, I think it was the
biggest mistake in their lives.
Firstly we had to make fictitious travel agency that offered holidays or tours in Italy. We had
to create Web pages. We had to think about some offers, find best places, best hotels and
best prices. It was really hard for me. We made some offers and put them on the Web. We
had to come up with a name for the travel agency too. We had a lots of ideas but the winner
was Gulliver Travels Agency.
We worked in a group of seven people. Everyone had to do specific work. Every two weeks
we had a meeting in our school and we talked about our work and ideas. We continued in
work about web pages and then we got a new task that we had to do with girls from SPŠ OA.
It was a small theatre play for preschool children. Some of us were playing some stuff for kids
or help with organisation. I had to take photos. It was really fun and in my opinion the kids
enjoyed it too. After the theatre we played with kids some games, it was fun.
The next task was singing and dancing. I was afraid of singing and dancing because I’m a shy

person. We had to learn some Italian dance and song. We tried to find the easiest dance and
song because we had a lot of work about web pages. We chose song called Renato Carosone
- Tu Vuò Fa' L'Americano. It was great song. I do not remember the name of the dance but it
was like stepping on cabbage. It was cool dance. We learned it in about 2 or 3 meetings so it
wasn’t so difficult.
When we arrived from Istanbul we had to do one more task - Culture Diversity. It was hard
task for me and I was late with delivering it to my teacher. We had to compare Czech culture
and Turkish culture.
I would like to thank to my teachers who had patience with me and to my friends who
helped me with my tasks and of course I have to thank the project because I think it has been
the best experience in my life.
Thank you!
