  1. Hello and thanks for joining us for this Quick start to Cole X-Dates. My name is Lora Ullerich and I’m the digital Media Specialist for Cole information. I’m joined here with Jeff Noehren, who’s with Cole.
  2. Thanks for choosing Cole X-dates. Today, I’m going to give you a brief overview of what Cole X-Dates can do for you including highlights of the various features and how you can get the most out of the product. I’ll also show you the Cole X-Dates highlights including the X-Dates search that is literally as easy as typing in a month, zip code & states & it immediately shows you hundreds of leads, the renters/condos search as well as the multi-driver search and that’s not all. As we do this, you’ll notice the pay-off of X-Dates. The fact that in just two sales, this product will have paid for itself. And then we’ll leave it up for any questions you may have.
  3. Before we get started, just a little background on Cole Information. In 1947, Jack Cole created the Cole Directory. The “Blue Book” is the original criss-cross reference directory, a standard tool for business and government. Today we continue this tradition of innovation through products like Cole X-Dates to provide small business owners this searchable database of addresses and phone numbers that allows them to target consumers and businesses in their own neighborhood. What makes X-Dates unique is that six years ago, when we were creating this product, we talked to insurance agents like yourselves to see what they would want in a product. You told us: we want a product that is easy to use & access, alerts us when homeowner’s policies are expiring in our area. And not only that, we’d also like to be able to see which households have multi-drivers & along with being less than $500, can you make it affordable? And that’s exactly what we created. We created a product that’s easy to access and use and in just a few clicks, you have a list of prospects. Cole X-Dates is affordable, unlimited & also you can preview the list prior to download.
  4. In addition, we think insurance agents are most successful when you have support. That’s why we created an online community called Cole Community, where with articles, a blog & other content including past webinars we think is interesting & is beneficial to small business owners like yourself. Highlights of Cole X-Dates is that you are able to quickly and easily search for and generate a list of identifiable homeowner’s insurance policies in your area that are up for renewal that would be easy to access online & available 24/7. The beauty of Cole X-Dates is the list is based off the homeowner’s original purchase date. And we get this list from several reputable sources including three credit bureaus, deed records and surveys.
  6. With Cole X-Dates, this is fingertip prospecting & to see how this is done, let’s jump over to the live site & see you just how it works. Jeff Noehren is with customer care & we’re going to log in to Cole X-Dates just to see how simply this truly is. Simply log-on to Cole X-Dates with your username & password & check the user agreement & then like I mentioned, you’re able to see the payback calculator. You’ll see on this beginning page—there’s four ways you can search— X-Dates search Renters/Condos search Multi-drivers Or additional search let’s dive into the first search, X-dates Like I mentioned, in just two steps, you can literally generate a list of hundreds of prospects who’s homeowner’s insurance policies that are expiring. Step one—choose the month you’d like target, the state & zip code. Step two is deciding whether you’d like to create a mailing or telemarketing list. To be successful, we recommend choosing a month two to three months out so that you can conduct a drip marketing campaign—beginning with a letter introducing yourself, stating the fact that their homeowner insurance policy is expiring & call-to-action. Something like, “Call me to re-evaluate your policy. The next month, you would follow up with a second letter and a possible phone call. So, just select your month & zip code & the state you are in, I’m going to get a mailing list, which includes phone numbers and hit search. You’ll notice that the estimated home value & confirmed homeowners always float to the top. It’s that easy. The second tab is renters/condos search—again in just a few clicks, you can generate an accurate list. Now, obviously renters don’t generate that much revenue for you—but we know that renters usually turn into homeowners. And if you’re getting your foot in the door with these folks, introducing yourself and being available—who will they turn to when they need insurance for their home? You! So, I’m just going to select the state, zip code, what kind of prospect I’m looking for—in this case, renters—and again, the list I’d like to generate. In this case, I choose mailing because it includes phone numbers of those prospects who are okay to call as part of the Federal Do Not Call Registry. We scrub our lists once a week to make sure it is accurate. If you do plan on telemarketing, you should have a Subscription Account Number & we also have information on Cole X-Dates on how to register for one. It’s free through the federal government. And I’ve got my list. It’s the same with home renters & condo owners. The third tab is the multi-drivers. These are homes that have more than one driver. Again, the beauty of Cole X-Dates is that it’s affordable—less than $500 for unlimited access to the database for a year. Again, it’s that couple steps of selecting your state, zip code and what kind of list you’d like to have & it generates. You’ll notice that we don’t have auto specific data because with everyone on different payment plans when it comes to auto insurance, whether it’s monthly, quarterly, bi-annually or annually—we can assume that those homeowners with the most expensive homes probably have the nicest cars. So again, when the list populates, you’ll notice that the highest home values of confirmed home owners float to the top & then—if you have age specific policies, you can sort your list from there. For instance, I like to add in there Head of Household Date of Birth—so I click on the “select display records” tab & select HOH DOB, & then add that to my selected fields & then I choose decending, so the youngest homeowners come up first because if you choose ascending, then you’ll notice that the ones with no DOB show up at the top. –so it comes down to how you’d like to search. The fourth tab is “additional search” and you’ll notice there are several demographic & geographic criteria to include in your search parameters including gender, mailable leads, confirmed homeowners, city, zip code—the only thing you must include is the state. Make your selections & hit search & you’re done. Then again, if you’d like to sort from there, you can. So, I’ve selected my prospects, generated my list, selected who I’m going to target—the entire list, the current page, or a couple pages, now I’m ready to download. So simply hit the “export to file” and there are several options to choose from including excel. You’ll notice we do have some agreements with some national carriers where we customize the list to that particular carrier’s CRM system. Simply click on the export tab
