Note:
Indonesia, a country experiencing economic growth is looking for foreign investment to maintain the economic
growth and also to accelerate the development in the country. Indonesia, in this matter has prioritized its
development agenda to: Infrastrusture, tourism, agriculture, energy, production industry and service industry.
2. This seminar is going to be held on the inisiative that in the past 2 years there many has been an increased
number of Spanish companies that are looking opportunites. Noting that few companies from Spain, know so
little about Indonesia and how big the opportunities they can have in Indonesia, The Embassy has the
obligation to share such opportunites to the Spanish companies, for the benefits of both sides and enhance the
economic relation in general. More over, Indonesia is a potential market, with more than 240 million people,
and 6% economic growth for the past 3 years, Indonesia is destined to be the largest economy in south east
asia.
The seminar will be focusing on the main opportunities for the companies, the government projects, the
tourism development plan, and as well the procedures and step-by-step regulations on how to invest in
Indonesia. Not only focusing on investment, the Seminar also will give information on Indoensian best
products, or how to do trade in Indoensia, the regulations, the procedures and contacts. This Seminar also
would be a good ocaasion in getting information on how to start to have business in Indoensia directly with the
officials in charge on the matter.
