2. There is a verb tense used
only with Future action
called..... the Future Tense.
This tense is used to express action
that WILL happen.

3. This tense is formed by
taking the INFINITIVE and
adding the following endings:

emosé

You (all) will buy
(used in Spain)

5. Ejemplos
Tomás nunca hablará inglés en
España.
Thomas will never speak English in
Spain.
Iremos a Francia este verano.
We will go to France this summer.
Seré millonario algún día.
I will be a millionaire some day.

I will study for the test.

 Will you bring the music to the party?

 We will be there at 11:00 am.

9. Certain verbs use an irregular
stem in the Future Tense….

 Salir  saldr-
 Tener  tendr-
 Valer  valdr-
 Venir  vendr-
 Decir  dir-
 Hacer  har-
They do use the same
endings as the regular
forms:

 Yo te diré cuando puedas salir.
I will tell you when you can leave.
 Haremos las tareas después.
We will do the homework later.
 ¡Qué lástima! Manuel no podrá venir a la fiesta.
What a shame! Manuel will not be able to
come to the party.

11. The Future of Probability....
 To speculate, assume or express
probability.
¿Cuántas personas vendrán a la fiesta?
How many people will come to the party?
¿Dónde estará Juan ahora?
Where could Juan be now?
Future Tense is used to guess about
present tense activities.
