2. Your quick tour: This tutorial gives you simple directions for exploring the main features available to you in SafetyBase.
3. To log in: (Ask us for a trial account (09) 535 4355 if you wish to do this “on line”) - In your browser address bar, enter www.safetybase.co.nz - When the login box displays, enter your e-mail address as User Name and your first name as Password. Click “Enter”
4. Dashboard: Your Home Page is the “Dashboard”. This is a summary of current health and safety information.
5. Dashboard: - You can filter information on the Dashboard by your locations. - The Consultative Agenda keeps Tasks for Safety Committee discussion.
6. Dashboard: Click “Accidents reported, any location, any date”. - You will see a tabulated report. There is only one accident to date. You can add one later and the report will show it. - Click “Dashboard” again, or use the back button in your browser to return to this page.
7. Dashboard: - There are 5 days lost showing on the summary. This data is generated by Accident Reports. - There are two files showing as open. These may be of concern to the Administrator.
8. Safety files: Example, Accident Report Click 5. Accidents and Incidents in the green list, then Accident/Incident Reports. - A brief summary screen appears with one report to date. - Click on the unique report number AC1-00001 to see the accident report.
9. Safety files: Example, Accident Report Scroll down the Accident Report till you find the blue bars. - Under Tasks, one has been created. You may already have received an e-mail. - Below is the Recurring Tasks box. You can set regular reminders here.
10. Safety files: Example, Accident Report - “Related Documents” is for attaching documents relevant to this file. Click the file name to view it. (You may have to use the back button to return to this screen). - “Related Files” is for SafetyBase files associated with this one. In this example, our Accident Report was linked with the later Accident Investigation.
11. Safety files: Example, Accident Report - Related People is a great place to develop employee safety history. Here, Tom Smith has been associated with this accident as the Injured Person. - Time Lost only appears in Accident Reports and generates all your lost days data.
12. People Safety History: - Scroll up and click People - Click on Tom Smith. A page showing all Tom’s history displays.
13. People Safety History: - So far, Tom has history as an Injured Person for the previous Accident Report. - This page develops safety history for individuals, such as training they attended or provided, hazards they are exposed to, participation in meetings, document ownership, registration as contractors etc.
