Definition of Home Defense
Self-defense is the right to use reasonable force
to protect oneself or members of the family
from bodily harm, or to a lesser extent, one's
property, from the attack of an aggressor, if
the defender has reason to believe
  he/she/they is/are in danger.

What Are My Legal Rights?
The Second Amendment of the U.S. Constitution
provides a legal platform for private firearm
  ownership.
All states recognize these rights if:
1. You are a US Citizen
2. You are NOT a convicted felon
3. You are over the age of 18 (21 for handguns)

What Are My Legal Rights?
In the State of Georgia you can carry a weapon if
you have a Concealed Carry Permit (CCP) from
   your local Sheriff’s Office.
If you are going to have a firearm, you NEED to
have a CCP. If you don’t and you use a firearm
you can be arrested for Carrying a Concealed
   Weapon (CCW).
A CCW charge is a misdemeanor (1st offense).

Things To Consider
As with any weapon there is a fantasy and a
reality side to the psychology of self defense.
• A weapon is NOT a solution
• You MUST be prepared to take a life
• Your weapon can only do what YOU want it to
  do
• Fear is the biggest danger

Weapon Safety and Children
• Every 9 hours a child or teen is killed in a
  firearms-related accident or suicide
• Most firearm accidents are caused by
carelessness in the storage and lack of
  education
• Its up to YOU to educate your child on
  firearms
• “Top Shelf Theory”
