   Went to Trinity Presbyterian Mission School
   Was a teacher at Miss Wilson’s School
   She served as the school president
   She was director of Negro Affairs
   These facts show that she had diligence.
    She worked hard to become a teacher.

 went door to door to raise money for her
  school.
 She could have kept the money but she
  made sure she used it for the school.
 Raising money also shows diligence

 wanted everyone to have an equal chance
  to succeed.
 worked hard to make sure African American
  girls had the same chance as the white girls

Respect for acceptance of authority

 Even when people would not donate money
  or other stuff for her school she was polite
  and said thank you for listening.
