different managers, including a CEO
who functioned as my interim manager.

have increased operational efficiency
like volume activation management
and various group policies.”

organization of our Microsoft Partner
program and advancing our level to
save the company money.”

4. "Eric has done a great job stabilizing
the network and providing everyday
maintenance of the network system at
RAF. His continual support of the
servers, the firewall, and the software
library has been virtually painless.”

5. "I particularly like Eric's initiative to
reduce costs of running the network.
Many of the tasks that Eric is required
to perform are mundane maintenance
tasks… Eric is always happy to
perform them, and he performs them
in a quiet, no complaint atmosphere.
He also optimizes the processes, and
thinks about reducing costs, without
much management direction.”

can work with customers and outside
companies, especially when the tasks
require multiple follow-up phone calls
and extreme patience. Comments
from other RAF managers have all
been pleasant and extol Eric's ability
to get work done when they need it."

products, gaining some press for
RAF. Since his handling of orders and
requests from engineering, I have
heard no complaints about getting
and receiving equipment.”

managing IT staff.”

IT group, including generating a clear and
well documented set of policies that have
helped RAF continue to grow as an
organization. Eric can always be counted on
to be detail-oriented and follow through on
projects. He is highly self-motivated and
takes projects and runs with them with
minimal management intervention
(interruption?). Eric is a critical cog in the
smooth working of Tech Services and RAF
as a whole…"

11. "The network engineer is a hard position,
because when it is done well it is almost invisible.
Eric has done so well that we only see him at
lunch. There are two characteristics about Eric
that I think bring major benefit to RAF. First, Eric
uses his own initiative to save RAF money and
fix problems that we, as system users, do not
even see. His willingness to search out the deals,
and improve the infrastructure has all been
without direction from myself. Second, Eric has
done a great job at maintaining the infrastructure
and the keeping RAF with the new technology.
This is the critical job responsibility for Eric, and
he has performed wonderfully.”

12. "I think that Eric underestimates the
value that his networking skills
brought to the Pay.gov project. He
can bring his valuable skills to other
RAF projects, and I think he should
be consulted more regularly.”

additional complication of a complete

network administration and user
support that Eric has set in the past
