9. FAITH: THE HUMAN’S SHARE Faith is more than a feeling. The genuine faith grow in spite of doubts or difficulties (Luke 17: 5-6). We grow in faith when we interact daily with Jesus, trusting in his promises (Galatians 2: 20). Throughout our lives the faith grows as a "shield" that protects us from the "wiles of the devil" (Ephesians 6: 16). GROWING IN FAITH 2

11. FAITH IN A PERSON: JESUS Jesus Christ is the ROCK on which we anchor our faith strong. Faith, apart from being based on sound doctrine, is trust in the person who spoke these doctrines.
12. “ It is not enough to believe about Christ; we must believe in Him. The only faith that will benefit us is that which embraces Him as a personal Saviour; which appropriates His merits to ourselves. Many hold faith as an opinion. Saving faith is a transaction by which those who receive Christ join themselves in covenant relation with God. Genuine faith is life. A living faith means an increase of vigor, a confiding trust, by which the soul becomes a conquering power ” E.G.W. ( The Desire of Ages, p. 347 )
