to produce a new magazine or newspaper product.
Your product could be in any style or genre but it must
be self financed through sale or advertising. You must
also produce your magazine for a specified audience
within the 16 to 25 age group.”

Brief
• My magazine is called YOURBUSINESS. It is a
business magazine for students in the North East
from the ages of 18 to 25.

My Idea
CLIENTRESEARCH
• To introduce an effective magazine that educates the
public on not just the start up of a business but also on the
managerial and accounting skills.
• Developing the readers knowledge of the local business
community.

• The Northern Echo
• Non specific newspaper
• Deliver regional and national news everyday
• To an audience of 180,000

  3. Every magazine needs a retail chain to take the product from being a developing progress to a physical object that the audience can read. Because I have decided to make my magazine an insert in the Northern Echo I will not need to include a wholesaler or retailer in the retail chain of my magazine. The distributor of my magazine will be inter-media. I have chosen this company to distribute my magazine because of their one-stop service where they provide me with all the services I require without compromising on quality or price. Also, Inter-media distribute Franchise magazine witch has been very successful partner is a similar magazine to my own. This shows me that Inter-media would be able to help me better distribute my magazine as they have already got the experience with an existing business magazine.
