Avaaz.org is a global online advocacy community launched in 2007 to bring people-powered politics to decision making. It has grown to over 5.5 million members from every country who take quick online actions like signing petitions and sharing information to influence urgent global issues. Since 2007, Avaaz has taken over 24 million online and offline actions, raised over $10 million, organized almost 10,000 events, and won awards for helping movements like addressing climate change.
