Storylines
• Today’s tilt marks the first of four meetings between the Wolves and
Oklahoma City Barons.
• The Wolves grabbed six out of a possible eight points in last year’s
season series between the two clubs (3-1-0-0).
• Tonight’s tilt kicks off the Wolves annual circus road trip; the club
will play six games in four cities over the next 15 days before
returning home on Nov. 16.
• Chicago enters tonight’s contest having dropped three games in
a row and five of its last six outings overall (1-4-0-1); the team has
earned a 3-5-0-1 mark nine tilts into the 2013-14 campaign.
• The Wolves posted a 3-5-0-1 record and .389 winning percentage
during the month of October, which marks their third-lowest winning
percentage during the first month of the season in franchise history;
the 2002-03 squad (1-4-1-1, .286 winning percentage in October) and
the 2009-10 team (3-6-0-1, .350) both went on to win more than 43
games and make the playoffs in their respective seasons.
