PERSPECTIVE STUDIO
ARCHITECTURE PERSPECTIVE STUDIO is an architectural practice based in Kuala
Lumpur with extensive working experience in the United Kingdom, Malaysia, Hong Kong and
China. The practice has a holistic approach to environmental design that includes planning,
architecture and interior design.
Working in a studio environment, is built around a small group of individuals, each with
particular expertise in different aspects of a multi-disciplinary craft that integrates aesthetic
exploration with local building technology. The practice continues to develop an intuitive
design approach that combines modern ideas and concepts rooted by local context and
culture.

2. Profile of People
Chia Sue Yi (b 1966 Sabah) received her secondary education in Kuala Lumpur,
Malaysia. This was followed by her architectural degrees at the School of Architecture,
Building and Design in Taylor's university Malaysia . She has worked for practices in
Singapore and at Eric Parry Architects, London, where she was involved in the design
and administration of projects in England and Malaysia. She obtained his professional
registration ARB and RIBA in 1996 prior to returning to Malaysia to supervise the
Damai Suria Condominium project at Jalan U-Thant, Kuala Lumpur.
CLEMENT CHIA(b 1967 Perak) was trained at the Bartlett School of Architecture,
University College London where he received his Master of Science in 1997 and later his
Diploma of Architecture in 2000. He has worked for Architectural Research Unit under
Florian Beigel in London, Tian Jin Design Architects and D Heung and Associates in
Hong Kong as a design architect. Prior to returning to Malaysia in 2003, he established
BTR Workshop in Hong Kong in 2003 where the design practice completed quality
commercial and residential works. He has taught at both Hong Kong and local
institutions.

3. Our experienced team whose emphasis is always on design and quality finished products
within the stipulated time frame and budget. Therefore, almost all of our projects are
undertaken based on a design and build arrangements through direct negotiated contracts.
The commitment and delivery of good quality finished products brings us rewards in the form
of repeat clients and successful multiple referrals.
We believe that this is only made possible through excellent after sales service, good rapport
with our clients and honest pricing. It is progressive in its outlook and aims to be a regionally
well-known architectural firm, interior designer & builder.
