The 4th annual Cocoa and Chocolate Show was held in Lima, Peru from July 5-7th, 2013. Upon entering the show lobby, attendees were greeted by artistically carved chocolate statues. Booths featured colorful chocolate presentations and samples, including some made with pisco grape brandy mixed with chocolate. Presentations addressed topics like exportation, quality control, sustainability, and developing domestic chocolate consumption in Peru, as most of their cacao is currently exported. International chefs and chocolatiers also gave presentations on the main stage.
