Before you start editing you project you’ll need to make some new folders so you can save your
premiere project safely. If you didn’t want to do this your risking loosing your work and it will
come up staying ‘off line’ which would mean all your clips are lost.
Start off my creating a folder on your memory stick and name it the title of your project.
Stage One: Step Two
Once you have created your folder open it up and create 3 new folders:
• Footage – This is for all your footage.
• Sound – This is for all your music and sound effects.
• Archive – This is for all your pictures.
Stage One: Step Three
Now that you’ve made the folders you can open Premiere Pro. The screen will look like this:

QuickTime. All clips should automatically change if this doesn’t happen you will have to change
each one manually.

This may take some time – all of your clips will save to your original footage folder.
