The Manly Lawn Tennis Club has hosted
Australia's Davis Cup matches. Australian
tennis greats including Ken Rosewall, and
Rod Laver, have played at this quant beach
town tennis club.

hotel for many of the professional tennis

Open.

The Crown is located in the heart of
Melbourne. All of Crown Towers’ luxuriously

spectacular views to the city or Port Phillip
Bay.

13. Day 7
Monday January 14th
“Kooyong & The Open”
• Breakfast at the Crystal Club
• Kooyong Lawn Tennis Club – Grass
Court Match Play, Tour & Lunch
• Afternoon Free Time in Melbourne
Kooyong Lawn Tennis Club is the most
prestigious tennis club in Australia and the
former home of the Australian Open. With
52 courts and one of the best lunch buffets,
we will be primed for Opening Night of the
Australian Open

Monday January 14th
“Kooyong & The Open”
• Dinner & Drinks at Transit Lounge
Overlooking Federation Square
• Australian Open – Rod Laver Arena
Night Session
• Overnight – The Crown Towers
We’ve all seen it on our television from home
and dreamt about the opportunity to
experience the excitement of the Australian
Open first hand.

15. Day 8
Tuesday January 15th
“The Open”

• Tennis Tram or Walk
• Australian Open – Hisense Arena &
Grounds Passes
Maybe on this day you will enjoy your
breakfast at the Crystal Club sitting next to
one of the players you will watch play later in
the day.

16. Day 8 - Continued
Tuesday January 15th
“The Open”
• Crystal Club Cocktails
• Plexi-Cushion Tennis Clinic & Match
Play –Albert Reserve
• Aussie BBQ at Albert Reserve
• Overnight – The Crown Towers
Play where the pros play. We will play on the
official practice courts of the Australian Open
and then finish off the night with an Aussie
BBQ. Maybe a few of our Aussie friends will
join us?

17. Day 9
Wednesday January 16th
“Melbourne & The Open”
• Early Morning Tennis Clinic
• Crystal Club Breakfast
• Day to Explore Melbourne: Eureka
Tower, Opal Shops, Aboriginal Art,
Crown Spa etc.
We stay and play where the pros play. Our
early morning tennis sessions are always
subject to overrule by Federer and Nadal. I
guess we can learn by watching the best in
the world.

18. Day 9 - Continued
Wednesday January 16th
“Melbourne & The Open”
• Early Evening Dinner at Leftbank
• Australian Open – Night Session
• Overnight – The Crown Towers
The early round night sessions at Rod Laver
Arena include access to the outer courts as
well. Many great matches take place on
Margaret Court and the other outer courts
in the early rounds where you can almost
touch the players.

19. Day 10
Thursday January 17th
“Superbox”
• Crystal Club Breakfast
• Water-taxi to Melbourne Olympic Park
• Australian Open Superbox – All Day
Session
Another day to enjoy life at its finest. Tennis
Ventures’ Superbox includes tea & coffee
upon arrival, catered lunch and beverages
throughout the day at the wave of a hand.
Maybe we will get a commentator and former
player to stop by?

20. Day 10 - Continued
Thursday January 17th

• Water taxi back to The Crown Towers
• Farewell Dinner on the Southbank
• Late Night Pub Crawl Anyone?
• Overnight – The Crown Towers
A final farewell to say thanks for taking part in
our Australian Venture and a chance to
plan your next Venture to the French Open
or Wimbledon with your new friends.
