Michael Jackson was born in 1958 in Indiana and began his musical career at age 5 as the lead singer of the Jackson 5. His 1982 album "Thriller" became the best-selling album of all time. Jackson performed the moonwalk for the first time in 1983 and won a record 8 Grammys in 1984. He had two brief marriages and three children before his death in 2009 at age 50 from cardiac arrest.
