Note, this presentation is a sample of the types of analysis that can be derived from clinical trials.gov. This analysis is limited to studies which mention the word pain in the title, condition or intervention or are classified as “pain” trials upon searching the clinical trials .gov website. Therefore this deck would not include clinical trials for “migraine”, for instance, if the word pain was not mentioned anywhere throughout the body of the text. Further analysis can be done to group drug interventions by brand/class/therapeutic category and/or by searching for specific conditions/diseases related to pain.
