- 5. Ministry Shares • Since the inception of Third CRC we have always paid our Ministry Shares. • This year we are struggling to maintain that commitment. • Our commitment for this year, based on our membership, is $136,535.

What have we learned? • Third CRC is a very giving/generous church! • Third CRC has a heart for local ministries. • Third CRC has placed less emphasis on traditional giving. • Like many local churches and various non- profit organizations Third CRC is struggling to maintain its operational budget.

Questions to think about moving forward…. • In light of Third CRC’s three statements of direction, does this budget reflect our commitment to evangelism, community outreach, and discipleship? • Does the proposed 2012 general budget for Third CRC reflect what you view as IIIrd’s spiritual mandate for proper stewardship?
