Notas do Editor

  1. Operator – transition to Shawn for kick-off Thank you and thanks to all of you who have taken the time to join this call today. We have attendees from all over the World, so good morning, afternoon, evening. We are very excited about todays call and hope you are as well. I’ve been in technology for over 15 years and anytime you bring together two companies like Microsoft & IBM, there is sure to be something of value. So Let’s look at the Agenda…
  2. SHAWN: Opening Agenda Today, our discussion focuses on what we are calling The Engaged Enterprise. This is about harnessing the power of CRM applications like Microsoft Dynamics and ERP Solutions such as Dynamics AX…And doing so across your enterprise in an Integrated Fashion. So we’ll look at what it Means to be an Engaged Enterprise, how MS Dynamics is helping clients reach this goal and where WebSphere Integration provides that Last Mile of Success. So let’s get into it…
  3. Shawn Speaking Points: When we talk to clients around the world, it is painfully obvious that the ability for organizations to manage out presents a key differentiator. Technology continues to enable us to reach new mediums, faster and with greater agility. - Decision can be democratized, socialized and acted on in minutes vs days - Partnerships can be identified, fostered and leveraged - New forms of revenue channels can be established, measured and managed The ability successfully execute on the key initiatives that organizations are driving is dependent to a large extent on their ability to connect and integrate But for Many rigid enterprises this is a struggles. It is difficult for them to adapt and embrace market complexity, Rigid Enterprise: Unable to access key information sources. Struggles to make changes across inflexible applications and systems. Fails to communicate effectively with customers. Cannot take advantage of new channels and delivery models Integration challenges inhibit effective partnering and community management. Responds slowly to new business opportunities. An Engaged Enterprise: while an interconnected enterprise can easily capitalize on complexity Informs decisions with contextual information from across the enterprise, and rapidly implements changes. Embraces new channels, partners, and business models. Effectively interacts with stakeholders in their preferred channels Leverages new partnerships and flexible relationships with 3rd parties to deliver greater service and capture market opportunities. An interconnected enterprise can innovate faster than their competitors, interact with customers in the way they want, and deliver deep integration with trading partners for more collaborative product/service development and sourcing
  4. SHAWN: In fact…When surveyed, we have found that organizations both small and large continue to struggle with this rigidity. And in effect: They cannot change rapidly enough to innovate faster then their competitors They struggle to communicate through the digital channels that their customers demand They fail to develop effective partnerships and the list goes on. At the core, Connectivity across the enterprise is a critical pre-requisite for meeting the challenge of complexity and effectively executing on important business initiatives
  5. Shawn Speaking Points: And when we look at this in context of how business are going to market today, its all about how flexible you can be to change. Consider the following: - A wholesaler experiences a sudden spike in orders. They do not have enough supply to fulfill them all They need to respond rapidly to ensure that their most important customers are still served and that customer satisfaction remains high. Their integration solution gives them detailed visibility into transactions so they are able to get advance warning into the potential product shortage. They then make two quick policy changes: 1 – they prioritize their most important customers and 2 – they relax some of the verification elements in their supplier on-boarding to to allow them to bring on some new temporary suppliers quickly They are able to quickly propagate these changes throughout their internal Microsoft Dynamics CRM or AX Applications and on out to their external trading partners. In this case, Flexible integration allows them to close the gap between changes and the time it takes to implement them. And so as we walk through the balance of todays session, please take time to consider the areas of your business that are most prone to change (whether that be Sales, Supply Chains, Distribution Channels, Marketing etc and how you as Business and IT leaders can Engage your Enterprise with Solutions such as MS Dynamics and WebSphere Integration to move from Rigid to Nimble. -  Hand off to Mark.
  6. Mark : Analysts TCO User adoption CRM was up 73% YOY ending FY June – AX/CRM growing at 30% yty.
  7. Mark: Brief history Deployment options Licensing and pricing AX Enterprise ready in ERP CRM flexibility – xRM (DOD) One of the primary factors for us being together today Integration possibilities abound – Engaged Enterprise Decision making, personalization, leveraging data to make educated decisions Competing products discussion – get it out there Biztalk still available but other products better suited for Dynamics – Websphere, Message Broker, Scribe example
  8. Mark: Not targeting largest tier one SAP customers for ERP We are winning with an alternative to SAP Oracle Offering divisions and subsidiaries of large companies Acquisitions Integration possibilities abound 09/26/12 WPC2010_Breakout
  9. Mark: As you learned in the keynote session, Microsoft Dynamics CRM has had an outstanding year in terms of placement in the top analysts ’ research. These are important tools that you need to use with every account to 1) establish credibility for Microsoft Dynamics CRM, 2) neutralize the perception that SFDC is the best, and 3) encourage your IT contacts to introduce you to the appropriate BDM contacts in sales, service and marketing. Links to the reprints for each report (plus the Forrester report on CRM Customer Service Solutions) are all on the right side of the slide. Copy these links and/or print them off and send them to your customers and prospects. Neutralize SFDC by highlighting how Microsoft Dynamics CRM is one of the best solutions available today. 09/26/12 © 2010 Microsoft Corporation. All rights reserved. 12. Joe: Analysts TCO User adoption CRM was up 73% YOY ending FY June – AX/CRM growing at 30% yty.
  13. Joe: Speaking Points: The ability to quickly and flexibly connect across the breadth of your business network is a key driver of your success. Your business network is much broader than just your IT systems, it comprises the sum of interactions and relationships that make up your business This means you must not only be able to seamlessly connect applications and process within the business But you must be able to effectively extend those connections processes to partners, customers, and suppliers And up into the growing realm of cloud applications
