How to Finally Get Everything You Ever Wanted
Goal Setting Magic for the Rest of Us
Introduction
I’ve been there myself. I had all this potential deep inside of me and yet I never
seemed to be anywhere different come the end of the year. I’d watch the ball drop at
New Year’s, from the comfort of my own sofa, quietly envying the crazy people who
were passionately out there, enjoying the end of one year and the new year of
possibilities. Sure, for years I would spend New Year’s Eve writing out my goals for
the new year. These goals were the same, year after year, and yet, by the end of the
year, I was nowhere near achieving them. Until I finally did something different. I’m
here to show you how you, too, can take this different path, and wind up where
you’ve always dreamed you might be. This path is simple, but not easy. Because it
takes daily habits that you must nurture, and accountability, not just for yourself, but
for those whose company you keep. But this small price is pennies on the dollar for
the rewards that inevitably follow. Let me guide you on the next few pages through
my simple 7-step system to finally achieving your goals. You’ll marvel at the
simplicity of it. And, let‘s be honest, I’m not going to tell you anything that you
haven’t heard before. That’s why these pages will be very lean. I am not going to
waste your time waxing poetic on the benefits, research and history of goal-setting.
Rather, I’m going to show you a simple system for setting goals and achieving them.
It is in the practice, not the theory, that your success lies. If you choose to only read
through these pages without acting on them, you will get nowhere. It is in the
actions you take, the daily habits you acquire, that will raise you to the heights you

It just needs a willing participant. Are you willing?

Step 1. Write Down Your Goals
The first step to achieving your goals is writing them down, as detailed as possible. If
you want a new car in the coming year, what kind of car do you want? What color,
make and model? How do you want to pay for it? The more you iron out the details,
the more the universe can co-create and give you what you desire. Don’t let the
universe do the guessing. It’s liable to make a mistake. Write down your goals in
detail.
To do this, list everything you want to accomplish, no matter how unrealistic or
impossible it may sound to you now. Write until you run out of things to write. Then,
go back over your list and write a 1, 3 or 5 in front of each item, indicating whether
you want to achieve that item in 1, 3 or 5 years.
Circle all of your one-year goals. Then, prioritize your one-year goals from most
important to least important. Your number 1 goal should be the goal that gets you
most excited. This is the goal that you will devote most of your time to. Write two
to three paragraphs explaining why you are absolutely committed to achieving this
goal in the coming year.
This does not preclude achieving the other one-year goals you have set for yourself.
This will enable you, however, to make the best choices when you plan your days.
You can have anything you want, but you cannot have everything you want. The truth
is, there are only so many hours in a day and so many days in a year. So prioritize
your list and be sure to place the most important items at the top. Imagine yourself
drinking a toast at the end of the year to achieving these most important goals. How
does that make you feel? If you’re doing it right, you should be totally stoked right

now to move onto the next part of the system, continually keeping your goals front
and center in your life.
Once you have completed step 1, move onto steps 2-7, summarized below.
Step 2. Rewrite Your Goals. This step helps you keep all of your goals at the front
of your mind, where you can't forget them or get distracted away from them. Very
essential step!
Steps 3 and 4: It's a Surprise! Unfortunately, I can't lay out every step for you.
There are some not-so-kind people out there who would steal my steps and ideas and
pass it off as their own. But trust me, steps 3 and 4 will get you in a super-powered
positive mindset and setting out to destroy your little goals and action-steps on a daily
basis!
Step 5: Establish Action Steps. This is the part that will go in your Daily Planner,
which I'll explain more about in just a minute.
Step 6: Take Action! All of the steps are essential to achieving your goals... but, if I
had to pick, this would be THE most important step, hands down. You WILL NOT
achieve your goals if you do not TAKE ACTION. In this chapter, I will tell you
exactly what you need to do... and the consequences of it when you don't.
Step 7: Keep Score. The major point of goal-setting and achieving is so that you can
enjoy the rewards from accomplishing your goals! So, keep score and reward yourself
accordingly. I'll show you how to do this and a bunch of free ways to reward yourself
for your hard work.
