schools new email system. You will log onto the
system, change your password and send two
emails to your elbow partner, one with an
attachment.

3. Reminder About The Sensible Use of Email
There are many rules associated with the use of
email. These include but are not limited to:
•In school you may only use the email facilities
provided by the school
•You are not allowed to use email during lessons,
unless your teacher has given you permission
•Sending or forwarding chain emails is not allowed
•You cannot use email for personal use
•You must not use email to offend or upset

4. Task 6: Logging On and Changing Password
•Click on the office 365 link – VLE front page
•Your account is:
username@cardinalallen.co.uk
•You will shortly receive a print out with a
temporary password on
•You will need to change this when you log on
•Your password must be set to the same as your
Network and Moodle password

5. Task 7: Send an Email to Your Partner
Watch carefully as you are shown how to compose
and send an email.
You are to send an email to your left elbow partner
explaining what ICT unit your are looking forward
to studying the most in year 8.

6. Task 8: Sending an Email with an Attachment
Watch carefully as you are shown how to add an
attachment to an email.
You are to email your left elbow partner a
document that you created in year 7. Any
document will do!

7. Plenary: One Final Email!
Send an email to your left elbow partner
explaining what you have learnt in todays lesson.
You may be asked to read out the email you
receive!
