Deep Bay Link - Northern Section
Contract No.:
HY/2002/04
Application:
Retaining Wall
Product:
ccw MiraDRAIN 6000
Main Contractor:
Gammon Skanska Limited
Date:
July 2004
ccw MiraDRAIN 6000, a drainage geocomposite system, has
been applied behind the retaining wall as an alternative granular
drainage layer at Deep Bay Link, and performed as an effective
drainage layer and its non-woven polypropylene filter fabric
served as a filtration medium.
ccw MiraDRAIN 6000 provides a consistent layer water flow rate
when compared with the conventional granular filter drainage
layer. Also, its high compressive strength and creep resistant
polystyrene core is capable to withstand impact and stress. The
unique multi-dimensional core configuration provides a uniform
flow path for water to pass freely.
Attach the ccw MiraDRAIN panels by using one of the temporary
panel attachment systems which is compatible with the substrate.
Concrete nails are used for fixing to the wall surface. Overlap
fabric in the direction of water flow when placing the ccw
MiraDRAIN 6000 panels adjacent to each other.
