4. Coal Coal is a fossil fuel because they have been formed from organic and prehistoric plants and animals. Burning fuel makes hot water to make steam and then steam turns into turbines then turbines turn generators that then turns into electrical energy.

7. Disadvantages of Hydroelectricity - dams are expensive to build - causes upstream to get flooded and rewinds animals homes - water quality and quantity downstream can be affected
8. Disadvantages of Wind Power - can kill birds - wind is not always predictable - can be noisy - some people feel that covering the landscape is unsightly
