2. How to apply
To apply for our NFO, you would need to apply via the
NFO form. To download the application form, please
click here.
To understand how to correctly fill up the application
form, please go through the steps mentioned below.
3. Step 1
• Please enter the respective distributor and sub-broker details.
• Fill the details very carefully for tracker account, since the code helps you track your
investment online.
• E.g.: Broker code ARN-0155 and Sub-broker Code 51218.
4. Step 2 – Existing client details
• If you are an existing investor in this particular mutual fund company then you just need to
mention your account/folio number in order to skip the section of Unit Holder Information
(personal details).
• Please note that If you are a New investor, Do not fill this section.
5. Step 3 – Unit Holder Information
• Please ensure that you enter the names correctly
• It is essential that every applicant should be a pan card holder.
• If you are a sole applicant, please enter your details in the First/Sole applicant section..
6. Step 4 – Unit Holder Information
• Please ensure to vigilantly enter your mailing address and other contact details since
we would communicate and interact with you through the same.
7. Step 5 – Mandatory Fields
• Please enter the PAN card number of every applicant including that of the guardian if any.
• Attach a copy of every applicants PAN card.
• Please mention your status as an investor i.e. individual, HUF etc by ticking on the
respective box.
• If your status does not match with the fields given in the form, please mention your status
in the Others section
8. Step 6 – Mandatory Fields
Occupation
• You can select your occupation by ticking the respective box.
• If your occupation does not match with the fields given in the form, please your
occupation in the Others section
9. Step 6 – Mandatory Fields
Communication
• Choose the information/reports which you would like to receive through E-Mail,
this would help our initiative of saving paper.
10. Step 6 – Mandatory Fields
Documents Submitted
• Mention the documents which you would attach along with the form by ticking the
desired box.
11. Step 7 – Bank Account details
• Please fill all the details very carefully.
• Mention the type of account you hold by ticking the correct box.
•You will receive money in the mentioned bank account at the time of redemption.
• Please note, no cash transaction will take place.
• For further ease of transactions, please fill in your IFSC code.
12. Step 8 – Investment details
• The Birla Sun Life capital protection oriented fund – series 1 is a close-ended scheme
and hence all investments will be received as under Growth option. Kindly tick the
‘Growth’ option.
13. Step 9 – Payment details
• Please mention the desired mode of payment by ticking the relevant box and mention
your investment amount details (in INR) very carefully.
• Mention the Cheque or DD number and date on which you are completing the
payment.
• You will have to attach a Cheque or draft of the particular amount, in favor of “Birla
Sun life Capital protection oriented fund – series 1”.
• Please make sure to write the full and correct scheme name on the cheque or draft.
14. Step 10 – Demat account details
• Investor has the option to hold the units in Demat form, you can opt for this by ticking
the ‘Yes’ box. If you don’t want this option, simply tick on the ‘No’ box and proceed to
the next section.
• If you selected ‘Yes’ please fill in your Demat details carefully.
• Please note that if no option is exercised, "No" will be the default option. How did we
get this line? I cant spot it in the form above. If it is the form then retain it else delete the
line
15. Step 11 – Redemption Remittance
• Your redemption proceeds will be automatically credited to your preferred account upon
maturity.
•You can avail of your redemption proceeds via RTGS / NEFT
•Please tick the relevant box to allow the fund to be redeemed through ‘Cheque’ or ‘Direct
Credit’.
• By selecting the ‘Direct Credit’ option, you can enable direct credit of redemption proceeds
into your bank account. This facility is available only with select banks.
16. Step 12 – Nomination Details
• Please ensure to select your nominee carefully and make sure you enter the correct
contact details.
• If nominee is a minor then please mention proper information regarding the guardian in
the personal details section. How did we get this line? I cant spot it in the form above. If
it is the form then retain it else delete the line
17. Step 13 – Declaration
• Please read the declaration carefully before signing and submitting.
• Please ensure to put your signature in the correct corresponding box.
18. Step 14 – Acknowledgement
• The acknowledgment slip is for your reference.
• Please mention the amount and cheque/DD details carefully and verify these with the
details mentioned above.
• Please store this acknowledgement slip safely for future reference.
