Pros Cons
• All camera data • Large file size
• Conrol over the conversion • Less fit on a memory card
• 12 or 14 bit • Need RAW plugins or software
• Revert without degrading the file. • Require post production
• Lossless compression • Propriatary formats

30. JPEG
JPEGS are an image file created in the camera.
Pros Cons
• Viewable directly from the camera • Lossy compression
• Small file size • Low bit rate
• More fit on memory cards • Has less dynamic range
• Universal file format • Quality depends on the camera
• Can be shot at a higher frame rate • Second generation
