Dr. Curt Ashley, Assistant Principal
P r o f e s s i on a l B i og ra p h y
Dr. Ashley was born and raised in Miami, Florida where he began his
teaching and coaching career. He graduated from the University of
Central Florida where he played football and received his Bachelor’s
degree. He continued his education earning a Masters of Education
degree from Phillips University, an Educational Specialist degree from
Lincoln Memorial University, and received his Doctorate degree from
Argosy University (Sarasota) with concentration in educational leader- Caption describing picture or

While in Miami, he taught physical education and also coached foot-
ball and wrestling for over six years.
Approximately fifteen years ago, he moved to the Atlanta area where
he joined the Sequoyah High School staff and taught Special Educa-
tion and coached football for two years. After his stint at Sequoyah,
he moved over to Cherokee High School for three years and worked as
an alternative-school/ISS teacher and again coached football.
