There are many, many words that describe bullying behaviour. Be specific, and choose the word you mean. These words not only describe what the person(s) do to you, but also how they make you feel – which is equally if not more important. Bullying it not just about the act, but how it impacts on you.Terrorize: to fill with terror or anxiety: scare / to coerce by threat or violenceIntimidate: to make timid or fearful: frighten / especially: to compel or deter by, or as if by threatsAttack: 1: to set upon or work against forcefully 2: to assail with unfriendly or bitter words 3: to begin to affect or to act on injuriously <plants attacked by aphids> 4: to set to work on <attack a problem> 5: to threaten (a piece in chess) with immediate captureMalice: 1: desire to cause pain, injury, or distress to another 2: intent to commit an unlawful act or cause harm without legal justification or excuse. Bullying is used describe a huge range of harmful activities. Being bullied has to do with how a particular act makes you feel.You could feel tormented, or provoked, or forced.You could feel like the bully was cruel, or menacing or abusive.You could feel like anyone who witnessed it was callous or aggressive or taunting.Using words beyond bullying helps communicate exactly how you felt and what the perpetrators did.

These mean things don't just happen once, they happen a lot and the bullying may go on for a long time. Sometimes bullying happens between two people, but bullying can also involve a group. Bullying involves a power difference: the person who bullies uses power to control and upset or distress another. People who bully may have an advantage over those who are victimized: they may be bigger, stronger, or older; they may be more popular, or they may know something sensitive or hurtful about the other person. Because of the power difference, it is hard for the person being bullied to defend him or herself.Summary: The Tormenter feels as though their actions are justified, and thus gains power and attention from their confidence. The Target, in turn, feels ashamed or embarrassed and these feelings increase the Tormenters feeling of power, tipping the scale in their direction.Now lets look at specific actions, and what type of bullying applies.
