Name changed to BPCL in 1977 BPCL and GAIL formed a JV, IGL, for implementation of City Gas projects in Delhi BPCL entered the LNG market by signing a gas sales purchase agreement with Petronet LNG MR capacity enhanced to 12 MMTPA.
