2. Symptoms
 It’s
that feeling of dread and
apprehension accompanied
by a tightness in the chest and
physical symptoms like
sweating, trembling and rapid
heartbeat.
 The skin goes pale, breathing
increases and the person may
sweat.

3. Many of the symptoms and signs
of anxiety disorders mimic a
normal reaction called fright of
flight response. This response is
closely-connected to the
Autonomic Nervous System
(ANS), which is hard-wired to
respond to danger or threats.

4. Types of Anxiety Disorders
 Generalized Anxiety Disorder
- people with this condition
have irrational fears about minor
things.
 Panic Disorder
- people who have this
condition experience sudden
episodes of panic in situation
where other people would not
be afraid.

5.  Phobia
- is an intense fear about a
particular object or situation.
 Agrophobia
- Is the fear of public places.
 Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder
- People with this condition
experience constant unwanted
thoughts.
 Post-traumatic Stress Disorder
- People experience this often
suffered from depression and
substance abuse.

7. EFFECTS OF CONFLICT
The effects of conflict will be
negative if proper conflict
management is not done. The
negative effects are:
 Increase in stress in people.
 Decrease in production
 Degradation in relationships
and worsening cooperation.

 Increase in the possibilities
of violent conflict.
These negative effects of
conflict can lead to
disintegration. So, importance
must be
given to timely interventions to
resolve conflict.

9. The result of conflict is not always
negative; it gives a positive effect
as well. A conflict gives positive
effects if it is handled
constructively. They are:
 Positive change in the society.
 Opportunity for newer possibilities.
 Renewal in relationships.
 Increase in productivity of all
sectors.
These effects of conflict will bring
positive change that will aid in the
development of the society.
