Some community colleges offer university transfer programs that allow students to take courses that are parallel to those offered for the first two years of a four year university Community colleges have up to 3 intakes in a year September, January and May. The programs are 1,2,3 and 4 years in duration while having flexible deadlines.

Scholarships are available to international students with exceptional results at some Canadian Institutions. The amount varies from one institution to another and usually cover’s only part of a student’s education and living expenses. Obtaining a scholarship is very competitive and applications must be made directly to each university along with the application for admission. Community and career colleges do not usually award scholarships.
