T he Costa del Sol is f ull of great things to do whilst on your
holiday here, but if you are looking f or a change f rom topping up
that tan, then why not pay a visit to one of the coasts most
popular tourist attractions; T he Crocodile Park in Torremolinos.
Situated right in the very centre of Torremolinos the Crocodile Park
is home to around 250 Crocodiles one of which just so happens to
be “Paco”, the largest Crocodile in Europe!
Visiting the park is a real treat and quite an eye opening experience. Every day at 11:30am, 1:30pm and
3.30pm you are of f ered the opportunity of taking a guided tour with either Enrique Sanchez Prieto or
Roman Reina Aranda.
Both men have a wealth of experience when it comes to understanding these prehistoric creatures and
provide you with a wealth of inf ormation on the Crocs. It’s hard to believe that these amazing creatures
have evolved over the past 200 million years!
T he guides also do something that at f irst glance may appear to be somewhat crazy. T hey get in the
pens with the Crocodiles and stand just a f ew f eet away! But don’t worry, these guys know the
Crocodiles inside out and know exactly what they can and can’t do. It really is a spectacle f or sure!

2. It takes around 2 hours to cover the whole of the park and see everything on of f er. T here is also a gif t
shop and restaurant f or ref reshments and snacks.

T he Crocodile Park is open every day of the year f rom 10am to 5pm (November – February), 10am – 6pm
(March, April, May, October) and 10am to 7pm (June to September)
How Much Does It Cost?
T he cost of entry is just €14.00 f or Adults, €11.50 f or children 4-12, €12.00 f or over 65’s and f ree f or
under 4’s.
T he park also of f ers easy access for disabled visitors. Please also note that under 12 year old’s must
be accompanied by an adult.
