For 2 or more items or any item ending in -s
Q: How much are these / those jeans?
A: They’re $75

2. Haggling
Customer: Excuse me, how much is this
handbag?
Salesperson: It’s $600. It’s real leather and it’s
from Italy.
Customer: Wow, I like it but it’s very expensive.
Can I have a discount?
Salesperson: Ok, I’ll give you a $50 discount.
So, that’s $550
Customer: How about $500?
Salesperson: OK. / I’m sorry that’s too much.
How about $540?
