churches in Germany, namely the Protestant
Evangelical Church and the Roman Catholic
Church, have lost significant number of adherents.
More than 30% of the population is not affiliated
with any church or other religious body.

In Germany most people practice ice hockey,
basketball, handball, motorsports, wintersports,
tennis, cycling, chess, golf, boxing, rugby union and
waters sports.
