2. This document provides small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) information on targeted EU and related
funding instruments. The document aims to answer the questions regarding to what funding instruments there
are and which of them are suitable for your business sector. Many of the instruments listed here have a strong
connection with national funding agencies. This makes the funding process straightforward and eases the
amount of needed paperwork. Table 1 represents the sectors or topics which are eligible to receive EU funding
for different phases of new high tech business. The funding instruments are marked with different colors and
include the upcoming calls with their deadlines. Clicking on the colored cells lead to the websites of the call.
Table 2 gives more detailed information on the actual instruments and calls.
