This document announces a release party for a new and improved version of software. It lists many new features and enhancements including increased speed, intelligent merging, user-specific RSS feeds, better geo-location integration, improved interfaces, revision management, querying and filtering options, concurrent use monitoring, import/export capabilities, analysis capabilities, service providers, security, and integrating BIM and GIS technologies. It also discusses future plans to make the core more open and extensible through plugins while maintaining its focus as a model server, and potential development of an open source IFD server.
