Microtel Inn & Suites in Green Bay, Wisconsin, built in 1999 with 68 rooms including 23 suites and an indoor pool, was for sale due to low profits making it difficult for buyers to obtain financing. Through targeted marketing to Midwest limited-service hotel buyers, 12 offers were received. The property was ultimately sold to a regional owner-operator who assumed the existing debt on the hotel, creatively financing the purchase.
