and closed- ended options)
• Procedure : nurses get the questions and
researchers collect them at the end of 1 week.
• Data analysis : analysed using Statistical package
for social csiences, summarized using
descriptive statistics, presented as frequencies
and percentage

standards of hygiene
• Nurses’ role to provide effective oral care is

13. • Gauze in the oral care of in-patients is not
recommended except then tooth-brushing is not
possible
• Mouthwash cannot be used (ineffective in
removing debris)
