Wish #1  - @Tags  &  #Mentions Allow Facebook Page Admins to view ‘tags’ & ‘#mentions’ separately! Facebook presently provides three tabs on a Page’s wall:    > Page Name + Others   > Page Name   > Just Others Marketer’s Wish:    > Introduce a tab for @Page-Name , when any User tags a brand with @     also let the brand admin respond to the tag with a comment or a like!   > When any existing user who has liked a brand mentions the brand name without tag      let the brand admin view such tags if user’s privacy of wall is public  www.beingpractical.com      pj@beingpractical.com beingpractical.com
Wish #2  - Brands can ‘Like’ users too! Allow Facebook Brand to “like” user’s comments and actions Facebook presently:    > Brand can comment on user comments on the page’ wall.  > When a brand tries to ‘like’ any user’s comments – it is liked by the profile of admin       (liked by facebook page administrator’s personal profile) Marketer’s Wish:    > Hey a brand can like actions of the user on its wall as well,      And the brand would want the user to know it with a simple – “Like” www.beingpractical.com      pj@beingpractical.com beingpractical.com
Wish #3  - Messaging communication with Users Allow Messaging Communication (Inbox) with users Facebook presently:    > Only way brand cancommunicate with its users is through Wall   > Page admin cannot communicate individually with a particular user Marketer’s Wish:    > Facebook users have the functionality to send Messages to each other in private (like email)   > Extend this same functionality and allow users to communicate in private with the brand. Wish #4  - Analytics for Links Shared Provide analytics for Links Shared Facebook presently:    > Allows sharing of links; brands definitely want to use its Facebook following to draw traffic  > Lack of analytics leads them to use bit.ly or tinyurl services to track link-use traffic   > If a brand is sharing more than 4-5 links per day – it just gets messy!   > Facebook provides analytics for media consumed on its own platform (video views, photos,..) Wish #6- Top Influencers of my brand! Which users got more users to my Facebook page this week? Facebook presently:  > There is no scope we know that! Wish #7- Member Management Tools Please! Ok – 10,000 users like my page. How do I manage them? Facebook presently:  > Has completely neglected this piece of Product Management Marketer’s Wish:    > While brands are spending a very high amount of CPCs/CPMs today on Facebook to promote      its fan pages, incorporating FB links in all communications – how do we manage the users?   > Facebook please provide us following:      - Ability to search the users      - Only option provided against every member is – Make Admin. Facebook has been just OK with the amount of Analytics it provides Facebook presently:  > Wish we knew more about the content consumption and user engagement in totality! Marketer’s Wish:    > A particular link on my website that is shared multiple times by multiple users  over a period      of time.  >  Expect Facebook to provide analytics for all such data in an analytics format.  >  One stop analytics – of all user actions  >  One stop analytics – of all links; comments, likes, shares of that link – and by whom & when  >  Traffic sent by Facebook on all such links over period of time. Wish #9- Verified Pages would be essential Does this brand really own the Page users are joining? Facebook presently:  > Host of duplicate pages are created on Facebook Marketer’s Wish:    > Some features mentioned in the previous slides may not be provided unless a Page is       verified to be the official page.   > Just like Twitter, or Google’s Webmaster – there would be ways to get a Page verified by its     rightful owners.  Intention of Verified  Pages is only that the correct and rightful owners receive analytics information.   There could be multiple ways to  figure that out – verified pages may not be the only way. Wish #10- App Ecosystem for Businesses Can you make it simple for us to choose the right Applications? Facebook presently:  > Facebook pioneered the app economy for social networking – games, applications, and so on.      Seems like you’ve forgotten it. Marketer’s Wish:    > Centralize all applications currently available for Pages – there are many like Landing Pages,       Polls, Chats, etc   > Open up APIs for Pages and allow developers to build applications.   > Enable us to take ‘Our Page’ on Facebook to our own website through Facebook Connect.
