CQ5 is a content management system built on a JCR repository with an OSGi application framework. All content is stored in the repository with no external database. It provides a user-friendly interface for marketing teams to manage digital assets. CQ5 is the core of Adobe Experience Manager and powers the management of websites, digital marketing campaigns, and other digital experiences. It uses a modular architecture based on Sling and OSGi to provide a flexible and extensible system for managing all types of digital content.
