Finally, What Do You ‘Say’
When You Tithe?
Did You Know That The Bible Actually Requires
You To ‘Say’ Something When You Tithe?
– Deuteronomy Chapter 26 lays out a Basic pattern for
us to use in Tithing, and viewing it in light of the New
Testament, we can follow these Principles and apply
them in our lives and activate and receive the
Abundance of it in our lives—today…

7. Learning to Follow the Word—
Not Just Traditions…
Well, if you are anything like me, then you
have been giving your Tithe (placing it in
the bucket), but you haven’t been
‘Tithing’—there’s a difference.
What you say as you give is Tithing, and
what you say as you give, is just as
important as what you give…
Wow! Ain’t that a shocker!

The Bible Says That We Have
a ‘High Priest…’
Heb. 3:1: Let us consider, Jesus the Apostle and
High Priest of Our Profession…*
What is the ‘job’ of a High Priest?
One of the jobs of a High Priest is to worship God,
and specifically worship God with the ‘Sacrifices
and Offerings’ of the People.
*From the Grk word ‘Homologia’, and it means ‘Confession’,
or to ‘say the same thing as’. The same thing as Who? The
Lord, the Father, the Holy Spirit, and The Word.

The Lord Jesus’ Job as High Priest is to
Worship The Father with Your Tithe ‘and’
Your Words About Your Tithe…
 Deut. 26:3 “…And thou shalt go unto the priest that
shall be in those days, and say unto him, I profess
this day unto the LORD thy God…”
 So, again, what are you thinking, saying, and
Believing when you ‘Tithe’. We must be aware of
this and act accordingly if we want the full Return
that He Promised. You’ve got a partial return, and so
have I. But our Father is not satisfied with that partial
Return—so why should we be? Partial
Obedience=Partial Return.

Tithing is More Than Just Dropping
Your Envelope in the Basket…
It is What You Say to The Lord as You
Submit it.
It is What You Believe as You Submit it.
It is What You Think upon as You Submit
it.
It is Even How You Act (Carry Yourself )
as You Submit it…
Just Like David Did Before Goliath, You
Must Speak and Act in Confidence. Why?

Because God, Your Father, Jesus, Your Lord,
High Priest and Savior, and Even the Devil is
Listening to HOW You Speak Over Your
Tithes…
 And What You Believe God is Going to Do, with
Them…
– God Said He Would Open the Windows of Heaven and
Pour You Out Such a Blessing There is NOT Room
Enough to Receive It All. SOME body Has Got to Believe
Like That, Think Like That, Act Like That and Speak Like
That—And Not Merely for 10 Minutes, (Then Forget it as
Soon as They Reach the Parking Lot!)
– God said, That He will Rebuke The Devourer—For Your
Sake. But What Have YOU Been Saying About That?
– What ELSE did He Say? _____So, What Are You Saying ?

God Has Said a Lot For You and Over
You—The Catch is, It Doesn’t Work
Unless You Say It And Believe It Too…
 Deut. 26:4 “And the priest shall take the basket out of
thine hand, and set it down before the altar of the LORD
thy God. 5 “And thou shalt speak and say before the
LORD thy God…”
 Num. 14: 28 Say unto them, As truly as I live, saith the
LORD, as ye have spoken in Mine ears, so will I do to
you:
 Are you speaking Good or Bad over yourself? Are you
believing for the ‘specific’ return He’s Promised?

Tithe…
You Again Must Be Mindful of How You
Think, Talk, Act and Speak!
Because Your High Priest is Still Listening!
And Because Your Words ‘Water’ Your
Seeds and Your Spiritual Crops!

Must Use Fresh Water To Produce Fresh
Fruit and Produce—A Good Crop!
Just Because You Think About Your

Write down 3 Powerful Promises from the
Word of God on a 3 X 5” Card and for the
next 7 days, first thing in the morning look
in the mirror and speak them out-loud to
yourself.
Don’t miss a day. Then note the results after
7 days.
If you really want to see a difference in
your person, do this twice a day…

Action Drill # 4: Getting Started
Take Some Time to Tithe—Don’t Just Rush
Through It
Do it the night before, (then give it Sunday) or even
a day or two before, do it as a family, if you can.
Or as a couple, or if you must, even by yourself,
but the Lord is there and remember—you are
speaking directly to Him, and then to the Father.
So, you are not really alone.
Tithing is first personal. It is between you and the
Lord, your High Priest, and your Father, God.
Here’s a sample…

 “(I) We profess this day unto the Lord our God that we have come
into the Inheritance which the Lord swore to give us. We are in the
Land which You have provided for us in Jesus Christ, the Kingdom
of Almighty God (Colossians 1:13). We were sinners in bondage by
Satan; but we called upon the Name of Jesus and You heard our cry
and delivered us from the power and authority of darkness and
translated us into the Kingdom of Your Dear Son."
 “Lord Jesus, You are our Lord and High Priest, we bring the
Firstfruits of our income to You and along with You, we Worship
our Father God with it. We rejoice in all the good which You and the
Father have given to us and our household. We have hearkened to
the voice of You, the Lord our God and have done according to all
that You have commanded us. Now, look down from Your holy
habitation from Heaven and bless us as You said in
Deuteronomy 26:14,15 and Malachi 3:10-12,

enough to receive it.
 3. And I will Rebuke the Devourer for your sake

 The Result for Jacob was, That in a Year That Was Full
of Famine for the World, His ‘Crops’ Grew and He
Reaped 100 Fold in the Very Same Year…
 Keep Your Crops Watered…

28. Action Drill # 5:
Tracking Long Term Results
After you have finished ‘Tithing’ and have
given your Tithe, Meditate on the 7
Promises of God to the Tither, and speak
them out loud to yourself for the next 30
days and note the results—big or small and
record the results in a small notebook for
that purpose, and date and track the results
for 1 year.
