The document discusses the importance of freedom of choice and how it affects people's lives. It talks about how important it is to be able to choose what you do in life, where you go to school, who you vote for, and other major decisions. The document provides examples of how some people, like women and black people, fought for and earned the right to have freedom of choice after not being able to make their own decisions in the past. It also contrasts this with how people in some countries still do not have full freedom to make choices for themselves.
2. VERY, VERY important!!!
It affects your whole entire life
It is what you are going to do throughout your
life
Without it you would be miserable
It means a lot to me because personally in my
family my mom tries more and more as we get
older to let us make our own choices more
often.
3. tried to win the freedom to vote and to choose
who you want to vote for, for almost her whole
life (when she was older)
Died on June 8, 1913, but she helped convince
for the right to vote and choose who you
wanted to vote for
She is still honored because of her great deed
4. It was mostly during the 1800s
The blacks should be able to choose what school
they wanted to go to without the whites saying
that they can’t
Only 15% of the blacks went to the white school if
they were allowed to because the blacks got scared
that the whites would make fun of them and
mistreat them just because they were black
None of the whites went to the black schools
because the whites didn’t want to be with the
blacks
was Not happening!!!
5. In some places in the world like China & North
Korea are communist so the government chooses a
lot of things for them, like what their job is going
to be etc. they even say that you need to stay in
the country and that you can never leave. I really
don’t think that is fair!
As all of us know that our parents choose some of
the things that we are going to do mostly when we
are little like, were we are going to go to school,
but when we are older we should be able to choose
what we are going to do because if our parents
keep choosing for us then we won’t know what to do
when we get married and move off away from them.
6. We should all have the freedom
to make our own choices and decisions
no matter who we are or what we look like,
and I want to leave you with a question…
How would you feel If you didn’t have the
right to make your own choices, and someone
Else was choosing things for you???
