 Amazon.com, one of the pioneers of e-commerce, was
launched by Jeff Bezos in 1994
 Amazon.com was one of the major companies to sell goods
by Internet which started business as online bookstore but
nowadays they have become multi sellers.
 Today, hundreds of thousands of world-class retail brands
and individual sellers increase their sales and reach new
customers by leveraging the power of the Amazon.com e-
commerce platform.
 The e-commerce section of MPH Bookstores has been in
operation since year 2000.
 In late 2006, with new talents and resources, its operation
team is re-organized as an independent business unit and the
web store is re-branded with a new identity as MPH Online.
 Since 2008, MPH Online has been undergoing a continuous
phase of upgrading to enhance the entire shopping
experience by increasing the range of books on offer and
introducing non-books items. Stationeries, branded products,
toys and games, multimedia accessories and e-readers are
among the new products introduced.

offer their goods alongside Amazon’s

Jeff Bezos founded Amazon.com in 1994
after making a cross country drive from
New York to Seattle, writing up the Amazon
business plan on the way and setting up
the original company in his garage. His
work with Amazon eventually led him to
become one of the most prominent dot-
com entrepreneurs.
Bezos is known for his attention to business
process details and he is an executive who
wants to know about everything from
contract minute to how he is quoted in all
Amazon press releases.

which is a part of a large Malaysian

Albukhary. For the first time, MPH becomes
a wholly Malaysian-owned company.
Jalinan Inspirasi is now known as the MPH
Group, which owns MPH Bookstores
(Malaysia and Singapore), MPH
Distributors (Malaysia and Singapore),
MPH Group Printing and MPH Group
Publishing.
Conclusion
 Both of this online application have same
organization development and the
relationship is B2C.
 Both of this is customer-friendly interface.

  • 5.  Amazon.com, one of the pioneers of e-commerce, was launched by Jeff Bezos in 1994  Amazon.com was one of the major companies to sell goods by Internet which started business as online bookstore but nowadays they have become multi sellers.  Today, hundreds of thousands of world-class retail brands and individual sellers increase their sales and reach new customers by leveraging the power of the Amazon.com e- commerce platform.
